KUET Admission Circular 2025-2026

Important Update: KUET is conducting its admission test independently for the 2025-26 session and is not part of the cluster admission system (CKRUET). Students can apply for two groups: Group Ka (Engineering and BURP) and Group Kha (Engineering, BURP, and Architecture). The admission test will be in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.

Who Can Apply?
To apply for KUET Admission 2025-26, you must meet specific eligibility criteria stated in the new circular:
- You must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
- You must have passed the SSC or equivalent exam in 2022 or 2023 with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (out of 5.00).
- You must have passed the HSC or equivalent exam in 2025.
- In your HSC or equivalent exam, you must have at least GPA 4.00 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry individually, and GPA 3.00 in English. The total Grade Points (GP) for these four subjects must be at least 18.00.
- If you studied under a foreign board (GCE O/A Level), you must have equivalent grades as specified in the circular (typically ‘B’ grade in at least five subjects in O-Level and ‘B’ grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Math in A-Level).
How to Apply?
The application process for KUET Admission 2025-26 is online and involves a two-step fee payment system. Follow these steps:
- Initial Application: Go to the official admission website: admission.kuet.ac.bd.
- Enter your SSC and HSC board, passing year, roll number, and registration number. Click “Next.”

The list is based on the total grade points in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English from the HSC exam. Approximately top 12,000 to 20,000 candidates (based on merit) will be shortlisted to sit for the admission test.
Admit Card Download
Only eligible candidates who have completed the Step 2 payment can download the admit card. The download period starts from 05 January 2026.
