Application Eligibility

To apply for NU Honours Admission 2025-2026, you need to meet specific rules. * HSC Passing Year: Students who passed HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025 are eligible.

  • SSC Passing Year: You also need to have passed SSC or equivalent in 2022 or 2023.
  • Humanities Group: You need a minimum GPA of 2.0 in both SSC and HSC. The combined GPA must be at least 4.5.
  • Science, Business Studies, & Vocational: You need a minimum GPA of 2.25 in SSC and 2.0 in HSC. The combined GPA must be at least 4.75.

  • Current Students: Students currently admitted in the 2024-2025 session cannot apply unless they cancel their previous admission.

How to Apply

Applying for NU Honours Admission 2025-2026 is simple.

  1. Visit www.nu.ac.bd/admissions and go to the Honours tab.
  2. Click “Apply Now (Honours)”.
  3. Enter your SSC and HSC roll numbers, board, and passing year.
  4. Check your details and correct gender if needed.
  5. Choose your college by selecting division and district.
  6. List your subject preferences carefully from the eligible list.
  7. Add quota details (Freedom Fighter, Tribal, etc.) if applicable.
  8. Provide a valid mobile number.
  9. Upload a colored photo (120×150 pixels, JPG format, max 50KB).
  10. Submit the form and print the A4 size application.

The admit card will show the test date, time, roll number, and center name.

  1. Admission Test Score: 100 Marks.
  2. SSC GPA: 40% weight (converted to marks).
  3. HSC GPA: 60% weight (converted to marks).

Check results on www.nu.ac.bd/admissions by logging in with your Application ID and PIN. You can also check via SMS by sending nu<space>athn<space>Application ID to 16222. There will be a 1st Merit List, 2nd Merit List, Quota Merit List, and two Release Slips for those who do not get a seat initially.

Final Admission

After the result, selected candidates must complete the final admission form online. Log in to the NU website and fill out the form.
