Application Eligibility
To apply for RU Admission for the 2025-2026 session, candidates must meet specific academic requirements. Applicants must have passed HSC or equivalent exams in 2024 or 2025.
GPA Requirements
- Humanities Group (Unit A): Minimum total GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC (with 4th subject), with at least 3.00 in each exam.
- Business Studies Group (Unit B): Minimum total GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC (with 4th subject), with at least 3.00 in each exam.
- Science Group (Unit C): Minimum total GPA of 8.00 in SSC and HSC (with 4th subject), with at least 3.50 in each exam.
Other Eligible Candidates
- Students with Diploma-in-Commerce, BFA (Pre), HSC (Vocational) under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, and Diploma-in-Engineering are eligible (Diploma-in-Engineering GPA is calculated on a 5.00 scale).
- GCE O/A-Level: Candidates must pass 5 subjects at ‘O’ Level and 2 subjects at ‘A’ Level. Out of these 7 subjects, they must have at least 4 ‘B’ grades and 3 ‘C’ grades.
Note: Candidates from any stream (Science, Humanities, Commerce) can apply to Units A, B, and C provided they meet the eligibility of their passing group.

Rajshahi University Announced the Admit Card Download Date. Admit Card can be download between December 17 to December 22, 2025. All Units Admit Card must be downloaded in this time frame. Marks Distribution & Exam Pattern
The admission test is an MCQ-based exam worth 100 marks.
- Total Questions: 80 MCQs
- Duration: 1 Hour
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
