HSC Exam Routine 2025
The official routine for the HSC exams in 2025 was published on February 19, 2025. Instructions
Here are some important instructions for HSC candidates:
- You must reach the exam hall and be in your seat at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- The Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) part of the exam will be held first, followed by the Creative Question (CQ) or written part.
- For subjects with 30 marks MCQ, the time is 30 minutes. For the 70 marks CQ part, the time is 2 hours 30 minutes. For subjects with practicals (25 marks MCQ), the time is 25 minutes. For the 50 marks CQ part, the time is 2 hours 35 minutes. There will be no break between the MCQ and CQ parts.
- Collect your admit card from your college principal. You must bring it to the exam hall.
- Fill in your roll number, registration number, and subject code correctly on the OMR form. Do not fold the answer sheet.
- You need to pass separately in the theoretical, MCQ, and practical parts (where applicable).
- Only appear for the subjects mentioned in your registration card and admit card.
- Your exam will not be held at your own college. Seats will be arranged at a different center.
- You can use a general scientific calculator (non-programmable). Programmable calculators are not allowed.
- No student is allowed to bring a mobile phone into the exam hall. Only the officer-in-charge of the center can use a mobile phone.
